About
Answering was never the hard part.
Callfoyer started because every tool we tried could pick up a phone, and none of them could tell us what had just happened. We build the part that comes after the call.
Why we built it
A missed call is a quiet problem.
Nobody notices the call that didn't come back. There's no alert for it, no line in a report — just a slightly worse month than the one you expected, for a reason nobody can name.
We spent a long time watching how service businesses actually run, and the pattern was always the same: the phone rings at the worst possible moment, someone answers it badly or not at all, and the information dies there. The owner finds out weeks later, if ever.
Every product in this category sells you a voice that picks up. That's the easy half. The hard half is turning two minutes of conversation into something you can act on in ten seconds — and that's the half we build.
How we build it
Three rules we don't bend.
Say less than you know
The agent answers from your profile or it escalates. It never fills a gap with something plausible. A wrong answer costs you more than a missed one.
Every call is a record
Recording, transcript, the actions it took and the result of each. If you can't check what happened, you can't trust it — so checking is the default, not a setting.
The owner's time is the scarce thing
Two minutes is what you actually have between jobs. The whole product is built to fit inside it: sorted, summarised, and one tap from done.
The company, plainly
We are small, we are not venture-backed, and we have no plans to sell your callers' data to anyone. If that changes you will read it here first.

Who's building it
A small team who have all worked a phone.
We have all, one way or another, been the person who answers the phone while trying to do something else. That is most of why this exists.
We're hiring
Support and back-end engineering. Tell us about a phone you have answered.
Twenty minutes from now
Somebody is going to call while you're reading this.
Building it is free and takes about twenty minutes — you hear it in your own greeting before you decide anything. Pick a plan and a number when you want it answering for real, and turn the forwarding off in one tap if you hate it.
